Dell UltraSharp U2711 review: Dell UltraSharp U2711
With a huge resolution, excellent performance in both colour and movies, and a huge amount of inputs, the U2711 excels in almost every area it puts its mark to. Hardcore gamers may be a little wary of the input lag, and others of the cost — but if you can afford one, you'll likely be very, very pleased.
Pros:
- H-IPS panel. Great resolution. Huge array of inputs. Offset and gain control. RGBCMY hue and saturation control. 24p support. Excellent HQV scores. sRGB and AdobeRGB modes.
Cons:
- Input lag might be disturbing to competitive gamers. Ever so slight judder. More granularity over offset would be nice. No ATW polariser, so white IPS glow is present.

I've had two of these monitors from Dell now, and both show problems with colour uniformity. I'm really disappointed, because there's a lot to like about the resolution, clarity, and depth of colours, and there are loads of reviewers and owners raving about it.
Pros:
- Resolution
Cons:
- Colour Uniformity

The Dell UltraSharp U2711 is one of the best LCD monitors that a consumer can buy, with an excellent 27 inch screen.
The screen uses an IPS panel (In-plane Switching) that can display colours better than most others, including Dell 's older 27-inch model the U2709W. In keeping with the current trend, the Dell UltraSharp U2711 features a 16:9 wide-screen aspect ratio for movies, but the big deal here is its screen...
Pros:
- 2560x1440 screen resolution
- quality of H-IPS panel
- lot of input ports
- DeepColor gamut support
- input lag not noticeable
Cons:
- No screen pivot functionality

Dell UltraSharp U2711
The Dell UltraSharp U2711 is one of the new breed of high-resolution 16:9 ratio displays to hit the market. With a high-quality IPS panel, a huge 2560 x 1440 resolution, and an equally hefty price tag, the U2711 is a high-end monitor to aspire to.

Dell Ultrasharp U2711 review
Can PC monitors be too big? Speak to owners of uber 30-inch displays and you might be surprised by the answer. That's where the Dell Ultrasharp U2711 steps in. At 27 inches, it's significantly smaller than ultra-panels such as HP's ZR30W.

Dell UltraSharp U2711 Review
In the age of full HD, the size of the display plays an as big a role as the quality of the content does. The time of 19-inch monitors being large has now become passe and now one would consider any monitor with a size of 24-inch as average.
