Dead Space 3 Review

It's an unfortunate side effect of today's industry that almost every one of our favourite franchises we enjoyed in our youths is being butchered or shaken up to the point where it barely resembles what it originally started off as.

Issac Clarke Returns...With A Buddy!

While the buzz surrounding the game brought fear to a lot of the series' veteran players over the past few months, I'm happy to report that the final product is a near-perfect balance of classic Dead Space and action-oriented gameplay.

Isaac Clarke suffers reversals of fortune with such speed and regularity, it's like it is bound to some sort of wheel. A wheel... of... fortune. His reversals get reversed, he climbs to the top of a mountain only to be thrown back down - he's a representation of the Buddhist philosophy that life is...

Dead Space 3 Review

This is a step forward for the franchise, even if we can clearly see EA's grip tightening on Isaac's throat.

Great atmosphere; Side missions are a winner; Weapon crafting has been implemented well

Quite easy for experienced gamers; Microtransactions (optional; yes - an eyesore; yes

Dead Space 3 review

The third entry in EA's sci-fi horror series exchanges scares for action, but is still an entertaining and atmospheric thriller.

Dead Space 3

Dead Space 3 is less scary and more action-packed this time around. It's like the developers just wanted to push the story on through (what's left of it) and keep everything flowing. This does make you puzzled at times where at times you don't really know what's going on.

Double firepower of weapons; Co-op works like a charm sometimes

Less scary; More action; Frequent level design layout

Dead Space 3 PC Review

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I didn't really enjoy playing the first two Dead Space games. I feel that horror action games have fallen into a rut that combined cheap scares with limitations on controls or movement along with other bits of awkwardness that turn what could be a fun,...

Dead Space 3 (Xbox 360) Review

The Dead Space series is renowned for its inventive approach to the survival horror genre.  Amongst the crowded shooter market, Dead Space found its home as a great horror series.  It originally found its reputation through the amount of tension established during its missions.

Dead Space 3 Review

Since its introduction with the first game, we've seen the Dead Space universe unfold and expand with a mixture of transmedia releases and a clear eye for detail and narrative foundation.

Dead Space 3 - Review

For its third entry, EA's popular Dead Space saga has broadened its canvas. Where the previous two games took place on a drifting spaceship and a stricken colony, Dead Space 3 mixes up its traditional claustrophobic horror with big action movie sequences, a larger cast and a story that hops from a...

A truly epic 15 hour story; Freedom to create your own perfect arsenal; Co-op play is very cleverly handled

Not as scary as previous Dead Space games; Hunting around for crafting resources is annoying; Some repetitive mission design
