Dead Space 3 starts with a break up. You might think that's weird for a game that involves meticulously cutting off the limbs of alien zombies who want to kill you. But the Dead Space series has seen more unusual changes over the last few years.

The limb-chopping combat receives a facelift with the new workbenches, which you can use to craft your own weapons; You start by picking a compact frame (one-handed) or a heavy frame (two-handed) and choosing an upper tool and a lower tool; These tools dictate what kind of firepower you're using.

DS3 doesn't quite reach the heights of its excellent predecessors, losing some of the horror gameplay in favour of a bit of half-baked action set-pieces, but overall its still a good game with solid and fun gunfights and dismembering action.

Dead Space 3 takes the fantastic alien dismembering gameplay in deep space the series is known for and gives you a partner to enjoy it with. This is a good thing, of course, because co-op makes just about everything better.

enjoyable game, didn't have so much issue with the planet-bound bits and you don't spend too long avoiding something that's unkillable which i find very dull. not as creepy as previous ones but familiarity with the game will do that anyway so as expected.

Is the new downloadable expansion for Dead Space 3 really the worst value DLC of the year? And if so does it at least offer some good scares?

The hallucination sequences are at least a break from norm; The ending is well staged, if hugely unsatisfying

Barely more than an hour in length, and almost all of that is just rehashed gameplay and visuals; Poorly told story undermines all the events of the main game

I'll just cut to the chase and immediately tell you I didn't play the first two Dead Space games. That's not much of an issue, however, as Dead Space 3 starts with a recap of what happened in the first two parts, as well as giving a short story on events that occured 200 years ago, to then bring us...

I feel co-op doesn't need to be in every single game and Dead Space was one of them. Because I feel Dead Space was predominantly a Single Player Survival Horror game to me. With all these things Dead space 3 was a mediocre game to me. Nothing Jaw dropping, Nothing to memorable, RIP Dead Space.

Dead Space 3, the first big release of the year, has been finally been unleashed upon the world on PC. Dead Space is one of those horror franchises that I've always admired for its ability to create dread with deceptively very little effort.

This is a good game don't pass it up. Play it and use your own mind to decide if its good or not.

This game felt more like the original dead space to me than the second installment in the trilogy; People tend to harp on the co-op or the ice planet; The co-op is optional and the ice planet is not what you expect.

I feel that people are not giving the game a chance; I couldn't find anything wrong with the game; I'm the type of person that plays the games that get the worst reviews just so i know what a true bad game feels like; Dead Space 3 is amazing
