"Dead rising 3 is a very solid game"

Dead rising three has a very interesting and entertaining storyline along with many other entertaining activities along the way. This coupled with a fun and enjoyable storyline makes it a very solid game. I really enjoyed this game.

Gameplay; tons of options; lots of ability to explore

Times story missions

Zombie Killing Goes Next Gen in Dead Rising 3

Long heralded as Capcom's "other zombie franchise", Dead Rising finally gets an opportunity to shine as one of the Xbox One's launch line-up exclusives. Can the third entry in the series finally escape the shadow of Resident Evil and stand at the vanguard of Microsoft's charge into the next-gen war

Thousands of zombies to kill in creative ways..

Forces players to run to opposite ends of the map way too often

Amidst all the talk about Xbox One and PlayStation 4's launch titles, you don't hear much about the cutscenes. But for Dead Rising, they bear mentioning. The game launches directly into an introduction as compelling as anything on cable, and it's frankly fantastic.

Dead Rising 3 Review

The Dead Rising franchise is the Saints Row of zombie apocalypses. It's not as serious as The Walking Dead or Left 4 Dead , where even a single zombie can be a life-ending threat, and it's rife with silly antics like combination weapons tied together with duct tape, psycho bosses who have...

Silly; serious fun; Combo weapons; super combo weapons; and combo vehicles; Crafting weapons on the fly; Story mode and Nightmare mode; Strong; balanced character progression; Online co-op

Dead Rising 3 (Xbox One) - Review

17,890 zombies were harmed in the making of this review. Dead Rising was the very first game I ever played on the Xbox 360. It was, in actual fact, one of the key reasons I purchased the console for in the first place.

Dead Rising 3

The best Dead Rising game yet. Thousands of zombies on screen at any time. A large world to adventure through. Quicker weapon pickups and combinations make for a smoother gameplay flow. Originally for Xbox One, subsequently released on Windows.

More open world – Weapon combinations – Huge world

Mission variety is lacking

Dead Rising 3 is a worthy sequel that's highly impressive on the Xbox One.

Highly detailed world to explore; Impressive scale of zombie hordes

Difficult boss battles; Mostly forgettable narrative

Game Review: Dead Rising 3 [XboxOne]

Dead Rising 3 is set three years after the events of Fortune City from Dead Rising 2 . Yet again a deadly virus has plagued the home of protagonist Nick Ramos and the dead are well and truly walking among the living.

Looks great; More on screen zombies than ever before; Crafting weapons on the spot; Quick Save is a god send; Plenty of replay value; Boss fights are less frustrating; So much fun

Gameplay hasn't evolved all that much; I still miss Frank West

Mowing Down the Undead

I never played the first Dead Rising game, but when I bought my XBOX 360, Dead Rising 2 was the first game I completed. When I caved and bought the XBOX One on Black Friday, I decided I would christen my new console the same way, so to speak, and spent quite a bit of time getting reacquainted with...
