Let me get this out of the way first. I didn't really like the first Dead Rising. I had great fun playing in the sandbox, hitting hockey pucks into zombie heads and running crowds of the undead down with shopping trolleys, but I hated the way the game was structured, specifically how the save points...

lit up the Xbox 360's launch period with its standout comical zombie escapades, but as a fan of the series, I admit to feeling slightly worried by this sequel's seemingly darker, grittier new direction when it was first announced.

This game is excellent!!! I've played it through 4 times now and find the gameplay fantastic and addictive. The graphics and audio are also first class and I would highly recommend this to everyone.

I purchased dead rising 3 on launch day with my xbox one console, it was the day one edition which came with a couple of extra characters. I love this game, it is better than previous dead rising games and i am very pleased that there is far less of a time limit for completing missions.

Awsome game! I loved it! Very addicted. Tons of stuffs you can do in the game. You can play hours and hours with a lot side mission and the main story line. Building a lot of cool weapons. It is also fun to play with online player and your buddy.

I purchased both the Xbox One and PS4 at launch, as well as all the exclusive launch titles for each system. This game gets the most play by far. Highly recommended.

Dead Rising 3 is clearly one of the standout Xbox One launch games, but isn't without its problems. I'm not thrilled with the map design, it's got repetition issues and some of the boss fights are disastrous, but Dead Rising fans know to expect that.

The best Dead Rising so far and purveyor of some of the most entertainingly absurd weapons in all gaming – just don't expect any depth or longevity.

Wonderful outrageous weapon and vehicle combos, and an impressive number of zombies on-screen at once; Lots to see and do and a usefully expanded co-op option

The gameplay is still extremely shallow in almost every aspect, and the novelty wears away considerably after a few hours; Prescription-only combo weapons still seem a missed opportunity
