The idea behind this is good, and it's quite fun to play for a while, but really only in short bursts as the central mechanic is all there is to it. Add to that the fact that after the first few the levels do go on and on, it outlasts its welcome before the game is half way through

I am new to the de Blob series and I have to say I quite enjoy this game. Its fun and relaxing and not too difficult. What I love about this game most is its huge levels with lots to do and most of all lots to paint!

This game is a great idea. It looks beautiful, the sounds are great and the characters are likeable. However, the game gets very repetitive. By the time I got to the fourth level I had to return it as the same formula for each level offered nothing new.

The HD era of consoles well and truly hit its stride in the last few years, but without Nintendo it could be argued that this has led to what feels like an endless series of drab, brown and grey, corridor based shooters.

It's de Blob as you might expect, but it's the best damn Blob money can buy, and an exceptional game in its own right.

Bought this for my new XBox 360 after listening to complaints from my wife regarding all games available on XBox are 'fighty-games'. She loves this game! The controls are a little overwhelming for a person who has never used a console and the graphics are nice.

I love this game and have played it through several times - its a quirky platformer with great graphics and sound. I would definitely recommend this game.

The original de Blob was a true piece of gaming art which was probably the most original game of 2008 as this strange blob attempted to colourise his world from his fascist oppressors.
