I've spent a heap of time playing this game, I later went to buy the DLC's for it. The game is unique, very punishing, yet very rewarding. Surprisingly the second one in the series: DS2 is the least liked one by many, however I'd recommend this game (well I'd recommend you experience all 3 of these...

We were running out of things to do on DSII and it was getting tired. Just what was needed to spice things up!

Good pricing for a game in great condition, only complaint I have is there was no instruction booklet, not a big deal but wish I would have known.

Sequels are hard to make, very hard. From did a stand up job here, the game is nearly as good as the first, and an ambitious game in it's own right. It takes balls to stick with making games that the biggest market (kids/many teens), won't want to play.

Dark Souls II has been one of the most publicized and critically acclaimed games of 2014, cited for great gameplay, stunning visuals and replay value. However, I struggled to understand what all the hype was about.

Much like when you meet someone you haven't seen for ten years, there's a familiar yet oddly different feel for Dark Souls II . You know it's the same person, but time has changed them and it's up to you to figure out if their new quirks are worth your time and energy.

An expansive and varied world to explore; Slicker controls improve combat and traversal; Changes to core mechanics make for a better & more interesting game

… but said changes will throw (and possibly frustrate) Souls' veterans initially; Hit detection is still as buggy as ever; Graphical concessions are disappointing; despite other improvements

I never played Demon Souls and nearly missed Dark Souls 1 thanks to Skyrim overshadowing it greatly, but thankfully I got it and enjoyed many hours of grim and foreboding exploration, death and elation with a 180+ level character, buying the prepare to die edition too.

Quite slow to get into, not a great deal of combat.. for fans only
