Great Little Unit for the price

As everyone stated use the web-interface once you have Identified the unit. Takes very little time if you are experienced. Got a couple of 1TB drives running in Raid works just fine as a back-up to a buisness server.

Stay away

UI: the web interface that comes embedded in the unit is an abomination. It's not standard compliant for starters, so it breaks up on any modern browser. It's also stupidly hard to use and poorly designed (save buttons are peppered all over the place very inconsistently for example).
Pros:
  • It's really hard for me to find any pros with this product
  • The low price is great, too bad the product barely works, and when it does is plain byzantine to make it work
Cons:
  • Where do I start..

I'd leave a negative review if I could

They sent me the wrong item. I waited for 14 days to receive the item and come to find out it wasn't even what I had ordered. They seem like a good deal at the time of purchase but you get ripped off. I then called them and sat on hold forever.

D-Link rejiggered its small NAS product line back in October , replacing the DNS-320 with the object of our scrutiny today, the DNS-320L ShareCenter 2-Bay Cloud Storage 2000 . I last checked in on D-Link's NASes over a year ago with the DNS-325 , which now represents the highest-performance two-bay...

DNS-320L

I bought this device to plug into my network, to be accessed by my two Apple Macs, as well as access at work and abroad. From opening the box and plugging the unit in as per instructions I found it is not easy to setup.

Easy setup, lots of features

It was very easy to hookup to my home network and it took only minutes to setup a schedule for an incremental backup of all my files.

D-Link DNS-320L review

The D-Link DNS-320L is one of the cheapest two-bay NAS devices we've ever reviewed, but despite the inevitable compromise on performance, this little enclosure could find a happy home for anyone with modest backup and storage needs.
