The D-Link AC3200 Ultra Wi-Fi DIR-890L/R Router is easily the most eye-catching router I've seen, but the sci-fi looks aren't the only thing about it worth your attention. In my testing, it was fast and easy to use, with an exceptionally stable Wi-Fi signal.

You can call it an inverted spider or crab, but one thing's for sure – the D-Link DIR890L probably won't win any awards for its looks.

I find myself frustrated over finding a product that will resolve my connectivity issues within my own house. I live in a multi-story home, and find that once again, I got my hopes up after watching ads for this thing. I am no better off than the Linksys I had.

Over the years it has worked well enough. However, whenever I try to do anything more than basic network configurations (e.g. wol broadcast setup) it's interface is so limited it's hard to configure anything but a fairly bland setup.

The chances are that your router is at least three years old and it is struggling to handle the big increase in traffic due to the introduction of devices that can now be attached to a network.

This is a true top end consumer router that has no equal; it has duel core processors; massive range; is Tri Band and under the bonnett D Link have engineered the device from the ground up to deliver ultra fast through put which is ideal for gaming and 4K movie content

We have stuggled to find fault with this device other than you are stuck with the six antenas that make this device look real mean which of course it is

D-Link's DIR-890L/R is an amazing looking solution and while it didn't carry top tier performance in our testing, it is a reliable solution with excellent firmware to back it up.

The D-Link DIR-890L is a beast of a router, on many facets. It's big and looks dangerous because of its red design. Everyone has to see for themselves if they like that of course. When you don't think it looks good, you can place it somewhere out of sight, but that's not what D-Link designed it for.
