Pros:
- Provides 11ac as well as 802.11n
- USB port for attaching USB drives
- Robust IPv6 support
Cons:
- Performs worse than competing draft 11ac routers on the market
- USB port does not support printers
- SharePort utility interface issues
- Problems signing up and registering for mydlink cloud service

6 hour and still half of home network down!! Never had so many issues. Setup windows did not work. Viewing window same, Had to get an old browser to view anything.

Best router I've ever had
I bought this router because my DIR-665 simply wasn't up to snuff with all the devices I have in the house and streaming videos. For example, if I wanted to download at 60mbit/s~, I wouldn't be able to stream, which was just downright annoying.

D-Link really has gotten a feel for it this year. We've seen one new product after the other. Earlier we got the flagship model from their standard line of routers called the DIR-857, and now it's apparently time for the 802.11ac router, the DIR-865L.
