D-Link DIR-645: broadband router
Most routers tend to look pretty much the same: thin, black or grey boxes with antennas and blinking lights. To buck the trend, the D-Link DIR-645 is a simple black cylinder that looks sleek but also adds some interesting new features.

When you're looking for a good router these days it's tempting to leave single-band versions by the wayside. Dual-band routers have that extra frequency that experiences much less interference and is faster as well.

Soviet coffee-grinder or D-Link DIR-645
The D-Link DIR-645 wireless router we tested produced a mixed impression. - Support of a guest wireless network
- The ability of beamforming when wireless clients are connected
- Stylish design

Great overall Router.
It a normal everyday router, not for the advanced home where loads of devices be connected. However it does have great reception if located in the right place. Great for a normal home with around 5-8 devices. Reliable has not crashed or given any issues.

- Good Wireless Range
- Improves Performance
- Strong Connection Points
Cons:
- BT Infinity Drops
- Firmware Bugs
- Internal DNS bug
- Limited Compatibility
- Unreliable

D-Link DIR-645 review
The D-Link DIR-645 (or the Whole Home Router 1000 as it's called in the US) is the latest D-Link push on injecting style into its home routers. Every networking company goes through this at some point, in an attempt to avoid yet-another-box syndrome.
