D-Link DIR-605L Cloud Router

D-Link's DIR-605L Cloud Router, ($40) announced at this year's CES, is not a remarkably noteworthy router. It's notable for what it lacks: It's a single-band, has no Gigabit Ethernet ports, and no USB port. It's also noteworthy for the one new feature it has: D-Link's mydlink cloud service.
Pros:
  • Affordable
  • Remote network management available
Cons:
  • No Gigabit Ethernet
  • So-so performance
  • Unexpected behavior in interface

D-Link DIR-605L Cloud Router

Overall, I would recommend the DIR-605L to people who are willing to sacrifice some performance for the ability to monitor network activity from afar. The router's lack of 5GHz support, in particular, is disappointing for city dwellers, who often knock each other off the narrow 2.4GHz band that the...

Good router let down by it's range...

The title really says it all, it's a Good router let down by it's range. It has a very quick connection "300Mbps" and a consistent signal as long as your in range. It struggles to cover some of my 3 bed semi. Although the placement isn't great, on the floor on the ground floor.

Bought this router to replace my three-year-old Belkin WiFi-N router that was giving me some issues. The setup process was very easy, however, for some reason the router wasn't able to connect to the Dynamic IP Address/connect to the modem provided by my ISP.
