GUI was easy to configure and very powerful. Filled all my needs.

LOUD! Geez, this thing has fans that are really loud! This may be fine for a server or IT room where no one spends much time, but it is unusable in any kind of an office scenario where people have to work near it. Other than that, it works as expected.

Avoid D-Link products at all costs.

I am a voice switch engineer and have to work with various models of phones to ensure functionality and interoperability. Which means I am sitting next to the switch plugging and unplugging phones hundreds of times while I test and code the soft switch to ensure everything works as it should.

Great product, easy to use. Needed to add a few more cameras to a system and this Switch came in handy to pick up the load.

I've had one of these installed in our home office for about 9 months now, replacing a 'consumer' 8-way switch which had run out of ports. Installation is uncomplicated, it has a web-form based control interface which you can drive from any browser, so there's no software to install.
