Great product and extremely straight forward.

I would absolutely recommend this, and do do recommend this. I will more than likely purchase another one moving forward for my living room.

Fast and Easy

The switch livened up a bunch of drops for me. I tried to connect it to my cable modem and then connect a wireless router to it, but unfortunately, the router has to go first.

Very good gigabit switch.

If you need a plug-and-play gigabit switch, this one will fit the bill. It's pretty much the same as the Netgear GS108 (identical, I have both). It's very easy to hook up. Simply plug an Ethernet cable from your router to the switch and you now have 7 more ports to hook up to other equipment.

So good that I purchased another!

This product is great for the home and office. It's completely enclosed in gunmetal and has a good weight to the item. It has 2 lights on each Ethernet port which is nice because alternative options often use 1 LED that is capable of orange and key.

Excellent Gigabit switch at an attractive price

The D-Link 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch is just as good as those from Linksys or Netgear but at a lower price. Construction is just as sturdy and the Ethernet ports and indicator lights are virtually identical.

I now have three of these. Plug in your network cables, plug the power cable in, and it works. No special software, no additional passwords. Keep in mind that everything connected is sharing the same up-stream path, so seven devices streaming HD video at the same time may not show very good network...

Ethernet Switch

Looking to upgrade our old switch as it was not performing well enough to keep all Internet sessions active at the same time. Old switch was also D-Link but it was OLD and we definitely got our monies worth with it. We decided to stay with the same brand due to the performance of the OLD one.

Great Mini-switch

This is a great little ethernet switch with a metal chassis. Installs in mere seconds. Works nicely right out of the box as any unmanaged switch should. Perfect for your home/small-office network. Wall-mountable design lets you keep things up and out of the way. Zero issues. I work in corporate I.T.

Good switch, keep the receipt Lifetime Warrante

We had 1 of 3 conk out after a few years. Has a lifetime warrantee but you need the receipt, suggest taping it to the unit, but probably costs more in freight and time than it's worth. 3 or 4 years and finally a hiccup, lost the receipt, but I'm okay with it, just ordered another DGS-108.

easy

keep receipt for lifetime warrantee
