This is a great switch the fan is a little on the loud side. I think this is the best choice for an 8 port Giga switch as I hate little transformers and rear connections. Up front connections allow for fast easy connection changes. Have had switch in service a little over 6 months.

I purchased this 8 port gigabit switch to do parallel computing. The setup is easy and it works reliably. The only thing I dislike is the noise made by its cooling fan. It is a little bit too noisy
