I am very happy with the item. I am not very knowledgeable about these products but I did not need to do anything to set it up - literally plug and play. It correctly detects Gigabit and other lower speed devices (shows a green light for Gigabit and yellow for 10 MBPS LAN speed devices) so I ASSUME...

Works as advertised

Excellent product. Was a replacement for a much larger device with only 5 ports and this is a dream. Truly plug and play.

It's okay for general use, but won't get the good speed if a few devices try to run at close to 1Gbps.
