Two months ago D-Link announced the release of the D-Link DCS-932L Day/Night Network Camera. Setting up some network cameras in my house has been on my ever growing to do list, and thanks to D-Link for providing me the DCS-932L to review, I finally had the chance to test out.

D-Link DCS-932L Wireless N Day & Night Home Network Camera review
IP security cameras offer many benefits over traditional analogue CCTV. The digital video they output can be streamed over the internet, monitored from anywhere, and stored on a remote server.

Good for basic baby cam
Setup took some time to figure out and their customer service using email on their web page was horrible. However once it is all setup it works well and easy to view using iPhone/iPad apps.
Pros:
- Price and online viewing
Cons:
- Setup wasn't as easy as expected and customer service email response took over one week

These are perfect for a low stress easy to manipulate home security system. I can check them from anywhere in the world via my PHone, Tablet or a neighbors computer..

D-Link Wireless N Day/Night Home Network Camera (DCS-932L) Review
I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a home body. I'd rather be home than anywhere else in the world. Sometimes I think that I would be perfectly happy as a hermit. Of course I'm not a hermit and I don't keep myself barricaded in my house 24/7. I go to work every day, go on vacations, etc.
Pros:
- Night vision
- Advanced motion detection settings
- Free email alerts when motion is detected
- Email and night mode scheduling features
- Does not require connection to a computer
Cons:
- Image is slightly fuzzy
- Audio has static
- Not obvious how to setup for wireless connection
- mydlink web interface installs a Java app every time you access it

The mydlink app on both iOS and Android allows user to remotely connect to their IP cameras easily from their smartphones. Though the downside of the mydlink page is that it takes some time to load. One complaint I have about the DCS-932L is that the stand seems flimsy.

I use this camera as a baby monitor and it's a pretty good choice for the money. Video quality is pretty good considering the resolution and both iPhone and iPad apps are good. My only issues with it are that the night mode turns on way to early and there is no way to manually turn it on/off. And...
