A very capable streamer
I pre-ordered one of these back in November when it first launched and I have been nothing but happy with the way this handles my local files. It took a little bit of fiddling around to get it to see my shares on Win7x64, but it was well worth it.

A great product to bring all your media together. No more changing DVD's for me!
I purchased this a few months ago then ripped my entire DVD collection onto a Nasbox. The boxee box connects to my TV through a HDMI cable. After connecting and signing into Boxee using ethernet or Wi-Fi you can download a update from the setting screen, didn't seem to do it automatically.

Waste Of Money
Cumbersome interface. Remote control is too small and needs to be backlit in low light. Streaming video which is suppose to be the big draw does not work even on high speed wireless connection. Do not waste your money on this product like I did!

D-Link Boxee Box
For years, hardcore media-streamer PC hacker tinkerer types have scoffed at Apple TV's limited feature set and built themselves Linux-based miniPCs that get a massive range of media formats to your TV at full 1080p.

Looking for a media Streamer.... GET THIS!
I have been looking for a good Media Streamer for a while now. Have looked at many options including Apple TV, Sling solution etc, but this is by far and away the best solution i have seen.

Good alternative to cable t.v.
Had it for about three weeks. Am liking it more as I'm getting to know where the content is that I like. I use the Boxee Box as a compliment to NetFlix which I get through an application on my Internet-enabled t.v.

I received a Boxee for Christmas completely unexpectedly (thanks Caz!) and couldnt be happier with it!
