A very capable streamer
I pre-ordered one of these back in November when it first launched and I have been nothing but happy with the way this handles my local files. It took a little bit of fiddling around to get it to see my shares on Win7x64, but it was well worth it.
Pros:
- Fantastic ability to play and stream local files

Looking for a media Streamer.... GET THIS!
I have been looking for a good Media Streamer for a while now. Have looked at many options including Apple TV, Sling solution etc, but this is by far and away the best solution i have seen.

I received a Boxee for Christmas completely unexpectedly (thanks Caz!) and couldnt be happier with it! I've had some experience with Streaming to TV kit - Netgear EVA8000 (terrible), Linksys DMA1000 (not bad), Xbox 360 (good since the last update) and PS3 (average) - but the Boxee beats all these so...

Made imporvement
I've got to say - this little box has turned into the best streamer on the market. The initial firmware was not-so-hot, but Boxee has since made considerable improvements. If my Boxee Box broke tomorrow, would I buy another? You bet! It isn't perfect, but I haven't seen anything else come close yet.

My 60 year old dad can even use it... he has never used a computer... Its integration with my network is great, how it displays the movies and music. So great.
