Doing the Job

I have a big desktop machine that I use for work. But it's vulnerable to power blips that seem to be quite frequent in our region. Putting this UPS on has stabilised the situation nicely. I'm expecting the unit to do the job for about 3 years. Excellent value for the price.

this ups has 2 batteries which give it amazing capacity, for its price it would be the best vale ups on the market, for my gear it holds 110 watts for around 40 min!! awesome

Perfect for home networki

It's a straightforward UPS, I bought it for keeping my fibre modem, router, VoIP box, etc going in the event of a power outage. Works fine in that capacity, exactly as advertised. It does buzz audibly a little when it is running off battery, but is silent in normal operation. Has a USB interface, I haven't connected to it yet. Instructions are clear about how to disable the beep when mains is off, but the beeping is much less obnoxious than other UPSs I've been around so haven't needed that feature when the house power has been off for rewiring work, for example. Would recommend it!

Died within 3 years, battery unreplaceable

I've been running a residential WiFi router, fibre modem, and a VoIP phone base off one of these for about 3 years, and found this UPS to work well on a couple occasions to keep the Internet connection going like when electricians were working on wiring in the house. Today, we had an unexpected power outage, and the UPS appears to have died - no lights nor the usual beeping to indicate the mains has failed. The unit was still warm when I checked on it, so I suppose it's just been wasting power for however long since something internal failed. The battery isn't supposed to be replaceable...
