Installed into Mid-2012 MacBook Pro. Easy install, and works as described. I cloned my hard drive onto this prior to swapping it out for my old SATA hard drive. Then simply booted it up and it ran fine. Seemed to run hot at first but this was an apple issue and was fixed by resetting the SMC.

Excellent quality SSD Drive. Crucial has very good reviews and reputation for all things memory related. This drive came with current version Acronis software to transfer everything from old hard drive to new SSD. (Need a SATA to USB cable or enclosure to do this, but I had one already.

After much research I went with Crucial SSD for my 5 yr old Acer Laptop. It had a 500GB HDD that ran at 5400 RPM. The difference the SSD made is outstanding. Boots fast, loads programs much faster but most of all everything is much more stable.

I quietly giggled to myself about my sheer luck of getting the most Asian plate in the world -- I swear it was pure coincidence -- as I inserted my debit card to the payment...

Have bought a few of these for various PC applications. Easy to install. Instant performance increase over traditional hard disk drives. Decent value too. Recommended.

Crucial is playing a cautious game with its SSDs. It still hasn't launched a consumer PCI-E NVMe SSD, and when it debuted its first 3D NAND two years ago, it did so with a mid-range product, the MX300.

The Crucial MX500 ssd is much more than I expected for its price. I quickly cloned my laptop drive to it. The laptop is almost better than when it was new! Much faster boot-up and application running. The size provides adequate storage for my needs. I really recommend it .
