For a single SSD, it's expensive, but it's one of the best $/MB ratio. I was debating getting a SSD for booting and a HD for other stuff, but I have a lot of games and didn't want to load slower. Games load so fast now, no regrets with this purchase.

I’ve got a Dell XPS 8700 which I brought in 2013. Was getting a bit slow to boot so I thought an SSD would be a good idea. I already had Acronis but there heaps of support on the Crucial Site. Transition to the SSD was straightforward. Boot time now under 30 seconds.

Well you can never have too much storage can you, and these drives are so easy and fast to install. I was up and running within 15 minutes of the courier arriving. Safe and reliable computer storage is everything now days. Get the best you can afford, get good support if you need it and back up regularly. Oh and what a great team to deal with at PBT Hornby, love those guys.

I'm using this SSD as a second storage device, replacing a dying mechanical hard drive of the same capacity. Before I was very hesitant to store things on my second drive because read/write speeds and loading times were going to be terrible. But now loading times for everything on this drive have improved significantly!

I have upgraded to of my families laptops with this SSD, and I can honestly say that it is an excellent drive. Compared to other drives that are faster or have more esthetically pleasing exterior, this one makes up for in price and good performance. If you are looking for a cheap but effective upgrade for your old system, this is a great option!

Forget about flash drives/memory sticks/thumb drives. If you’re not using the cloud, just buy one of these to transfer your large files between computers at work and home. I use it for my multitrack songs in Logic Pro as well as video files...soooo much faster than a flash drive. I’m super happy
