It looks great and also sounds great....Once you get it working that is, if you have a Windows 10 based PC then I'd advise you to look up some forums for support advice on this before purchasing it or to go with another brand with better driver support (Personally I would recommend ASUS from...

The definitive choice for gaming enthusiasts demanding correct audio. What are you waiting for, an engraved invitation?

Some people out there might wonder why they would ever get a sound card, when there are USB headsets and saying "onboard audio is fine." Well, nobody ever accused them of being correct. Even now, in 2016, onboard audio has, and always remains, terrible for actual gaming.

Two microphone inputs, as well as a separate line-in, in addition to the analog and optical audio outs; Much, much simpler driver from Creative compared to the X-Fi Xtremegamer I was using previously.

While there is no more mode switching necessary to use what this card is capable of unlike the X-Fi series the core chip is based on; it does lose some of the advanced controls that were present on the older series of cards

Much better than on board sound card

I originally purchased a Creative Sound Blaster Z , but the center and sub woofer channels became extremely distorted after one day. Then I installed the Sound Blaster RX. This card is a great improvement over the on board sound card. It also has better sound than the Sound Blaster Z.

Instant upgrade over integrated sound for a great price!

By Dan I bought a brand new Dell with integrated sound. The Dell I was replacing from 2006 already had a Sound Blaster card and it sounded so much better than my new Dell with integrated sound.

Sound Blaster

Just use audio on mother board. Never could get it to work. Not even a good paper weight

Much better than on-board sound card

Added this to an older PC hoping to upgrade the audio. While it is somewhat better, the difference was not that significant. That being said, other features were a plus, including the ability to play through the 1/8quot; jack and the digital out at the same time. The software is great.

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy PCIe RX 7.1 Sound Card with High Performance Headphone Amp

I recently upgraded to the Creative sound blaster Audigy Rx from my H97M-E motherboards onboard crystal sound 2 with good results, One game "unreal tournament 2004" benefited when i raised the audio settings to 3d/EAX by making the menu sounds louder and the game sound a bit crisper.
