I had used the bose companion series before this purchase and wanted to try something different. I am not at all disappointed with my decision to buy these. Best thing is that you have separate controls for bass and treble which you dont have in bose. I had received the companion series II speakers.

For their size and volume these are as well made and sounding as mid-end Infinity Home Stereo. So long as all you want is low-mid range volume, good acoustic controls. LED a bit bright, but who cares, Lets you know to turn it off after shutting pc down.

Creative are trying to convince us that 2.1 is not the way to go with PC speakers, preferring a straight-up 2.0 approach. But does this work in practice? We bang out some funky beats to find out.

The sound quality is excellent. The speakers are solid and compact. Best computer speakers I have purchased – and such a good price.

The Headphone Jack sound and volume, thou good is muted compared to the full speakers, a little disappointed with this but its still loud enough, and having the Base/Treble controls helps here (add a little Treble). Beware… The speakers are about normal height for desktop speakers, but are very solid (heavy and deep). you will need to think about if you have room for these speakers. Speaker Dimensions: 8cm Wide x 14cm Long x 23cm high.

Bought for my partner, as he has had an old set of these for years, and he really likes them
