Corsair Sabre RGB Pro Wireless Champion Series gaming mouse review: Less RGB, more freedom

This ergonomic gaming mouse has some great highlights, including satisfying fast-action switches, easy access side buttons, and responsive specs. Oddly it's not as highly specced as the wired version - which is lighter and has a higher polling rate - but it's still a great wireless offering nonetheless.

Comfortable fit for larger hands; Large side buttons; Bluetooth and wireless connection options; Rough non-slip texture; Satisfying click action;

Less RGB than the wired version;

Corsair Sabre RGB Pro Wireless review: Competitive mouse, competitive price

In the world of esports mice, it’s usually hard to get excited about another bare-bones mouse — especially when it’s an update to an existing model. That’s what the Corsair Sabre RGB Pro Wireless is. It’s nearly identical to the $60 Sabre RGB Pro, just without a wire and at nearly twice the price. Still, it’s cheaper than the competition and comes with specs to get excited about. In terms of dimensions, its identical to the Sabre Pro that’s available, just with the wire snipped. The Wireless model is just a hair heavier, though — 79 grams c...

2,000Hz polling rate; Flexible iCue software; Comfortable palm grip design; Only 79 grams; Two wireless modes;

Limited additional buttons; Only one RGB zone;

Comfy, lightweight and affordable

Man I am in love with this mice. I did not expect Corsair to step up their game, even though they were kinda slow to implement a lightweight wireless mice compared to fellow competitors. They nailed the sensor, a major improvement from their past mice and I'm not talking about their 26k DPI but more over how accurate it felt tracking. I felt like I was able to aim in specific areas in all four quadrants of the screen compared to some of their older mice. Primary and Secondary buttons are quick, instantaneous and satisfying. Build quality is superb, no creaking. Scroll wheel ain't as satisfying compared to others but its good enough. It even has Bluetooth which many high-end mice don't always have. You're getting a lot of good value for your money. Now for some downsides, since it is an ergonomic shape, it is more suited for palm grip. Hence your hand will most likely lock into the mouse, meaning compared to a asymmetric mouse it is more difficult to make micro movements with your fi
