Ultimately, Corsair has done so many things right with the M65 Pro RGB. The new 12,000 dpi optical sensor is truly cutting-edge and gaming-grade, and the big, slick glide pads, low profile shape, and fast switches mean nothing's going to slow you down when it comes to performance.

There are few names in the industry as well-known and respected as Corsair. Whether it's their Cases, Coolers, Keyboards, or mice, as long as it has the Corsair name on it, you're guaranteed a well-made, quality product.

Corsair's software is the icing on the cake, although it's not unique to the M65 Pro RGB of course. However, it works very well with the mouse's features such as its sniper button and independent DPI toggles.

We've got mixed feelings about Corsair's new mice. The Corsair M65 Pro RGB is about ten bucks cheaper than the Logitech G502, which features the same sensor, but it does have negative acceleration and ripple. This is a shame, since we're very pleased with the build quality and comfort of the mouse.

The reasons we've limited ourselves to a brief test here today is due to the close relationship between the M65 and M65 PRO RGB. Aside from Corsair pairing the new PRO variant with a new sensor, there is no striking differences between the two models.

Corsair has broken barriers with the 12,000 DPI offered in its M65 Pro RGB. If not for the complicated nature of the software and slightly forward placement of the side buttons, we feel this could have been the complete package deal.
