Corsair Crystal Series 280X RGB Case Review

Corsair's Crystal Series is definitely their more flashy series. The Crystal Series 570X was one of the coolest cases Corsair released at the end of 2016. Well we now have a new entry into the Crystal Series, the 280X RGB.

– Sleek design; – Three tempered glass side panels; – Two LL120 RGB fans and Lighting Node Pro RGB controller included; – Easy hardware installation; – Room for 5 fans and watercooling

– None that I found

Corsair CRYSTAL 280X RGB Case Review

One trend in the PC world the last few years following the push for more efficient components is to make things smaller. We've seen an impressive lineup of ITX and MicroATX boards from nearly all of the vendors out there extending from entry level up through the High-End Desk-Top series.

Corsair Crystal Series 280X review

Much like a partner of choice, sometimes a piece of hardware just clicks I really like the new Crystal Series 280X for many reasons including a proper build quality, very nice aesthetics, spacious despite being a compact form factor build and added to that the overall feel and ease of use this...

Corsair Crystal Series 280X RGB Tempered Glass Micro-ATX Case Review

Corsair's new Crystal Series 280X RGB enclosure brings tempered glass and lighting effects down to the size of the company's previous micro-ATX Carbide Air 240 case ( reviewed here back in 2014 ), creating a high-end take on this compact dual-chamber design.

Corsair Crystal Series 280X RGB Review

While technically not a Carbide series case, the Crystal Series 280X RGB has its roots very much in the chassis of the popular . Several members of the bit-tech team have housed their main rigs in that case over the years, so we can think of few higher praises or bigger shoes to fill.

Corsair's Crystal Series 280X RGB microATX case reviewed

Corsair's Crystal 280X RGB microATX case isn't for everybody. At its $160 list price (or even at $110 without the RGB LED fans and hub inside), this is an unabashedly high-end chassis in a market that's become more and more focused on well-under-$100 options for housing wallet-friendly motherboards...

I love this case. However you need to be careful which motherboard you get to go with this case. In my situation the motherboard I got fit this case, but when it came time to plug in things and do cable management, I was not able to easily install a bottom mounted case fan as the USB header cables...

Great Case

Bought this case after my PSU did not work with my graphics card in my micro atx build. I have a ASUS ROG 1070ti and it was to thick to fit in my Fractal Nano S with my ATX PSU. THis case was a dream to build in. I have no problems with the length of my GPU fitting in this case whatsoever.

Corsair Crystal 280X RGB

The Corsair Crystal 280X RGB takes the idea behind the Air 240, and the classy looks and material mix of the Crystal family, and marries them in an even more compact, powerful, and beautiful enclosure that includes not only better liquid-cooling compatibility but also features Corsair's retail-grade...

Lovely case and was a pleasure to build in, despite it being slightly less basic than, an NZXT case for example. If I can criticise the chassis, I would say the darked out windows are enticing the consumer to buy RGB fans.. I haven't given in and I went with a plain build.
