Cooler Master HAF 912 Case RC-912-KKN1

One of the great things about a free market are the options. In today's computer market there are options between brands and even within brands. Cooler Master's High Air Flow (HAF) series is one example of products designed to fit a range of different needs.

Can fit 13" video cards; Modular 3.5" drive bay; Many configuration options; Extra space under motherboard tray; Spacious for it's size; Room for many extra fans; Compatible with internal or external radiator; Quick install time; Many cable routing options

Not enough hard drive damping; Only one tool-less 5.25" bay; A screwdriver required to install most hardware; Only two fans by default

Cooler Master HAF 912 Case Review

I've spent countless hours in my life carefully picking out parts for a build, weighing out price, quality and performance. I find myself going in circles as a gamer, as I want parts that fall outside of my budget, but I don't wish to undercut quality or performance just to save a few bucks.

Great gaming rig look; Room for 11 devices; Tool free HDD installation; Can fit up to 13" GPU and 170mm CPU cooler; Ample options for wire management; Support for SSD installation; Great price point

Only one bracket for tool free optical drive installation

Cooler Master HAF 912

Until the release of the 912, price-point may have been the most restrictive aspect of the HAF series. When a company attempts to create a cost-friendly version of any product, there are countless ways to do it wrong.

Cooler Master HAF 912 Case

Two years ago Cooler Master introduced a new full tower case called the HAF 932. The HAF combined rugged, industrial style looks with many of the same amenities as some of their high end cases like the Cosmos, but without the matching high price tag.

[Review] Cooler Master HAF 912

The rugged militaristic inspiration behind the HAF series of chassis has once again succeeded. The HAF 912 has catered to the budget-conscious gamers and has done a great job. It has the feel of the more expensive 932 and 922, but with a much more affordable price tag.
