Cooler Master HAF 912 Case Review

★★★★★
Verdict: I've spent countless hours in my life carefully picking out parts for a build, weighing out price, quality and performance. Cooler Master HAF 912

★★★★★
Verdict: Until the release of the 912, price-point may have been the most restrictive aspect of the HAF series. When a company attempts to create a cost-friendly version of any product, there are countless ways to do it wrong.

[Review] Cooler Master HAF 912

★★★★★
Verdict: The rugged militaristic inspiration behind the HAF series of chassis has once again succeeded. The HAF 912 has catered to the budget-conscious gamers and has done a great job. It has the feel of the more expensive 932 and 922, but with a much more affordable price tag.

Outstanding case for the money

★★★★★ 5.0
Verdict: Great case with lots of flexibility and room to work with; absolutely perfect for a first build. No one uses DVD/CD drives all that much these days anyway, so that weakness won't take away from my rating. 5/5 hands down.
Pros:
  • Great for my first build - easy layout, LOTS of room
  • Lots of options to add case fans, and good cable management which I wasn't expecting at this price point
Cons:
  • Every optical drive I tried in it was extremely loud when spinning a disc
  • As a novice builder maybe I'm missing something with the install, but optical drives should not be that loud

Lots of space inside..

★★★★★ 3.0
Verdict: I have 5 HDDs, 1 SSD, and a Blu-ray Drive and the problem I keep having with other cases is the lack of room, everything fits of course but it's shoved in and not clean. This case is wider than most mid-tower cases so you have the ability to route really thick cables behind the motherboard, it also...

It has 1 usb 2.0 and 1 usb 3.0 (which is good in my case as my motherboard has no usb 3.0 plugs) Only downside is there is only one tool...

Pros:
  • - Lots of room for many different fans - Holes drilled allow you to use fans of different sizes - Nice size case with lots of room to work - not too big

Verdict: I got this item in a store when i was having a friend put a new computer together for me and it is a great choice, have plenty of room for expansion and everything i need, i would not recommend it if you know your going to have a large amount of power going through it and need lots of cooling, yes...
