Chanel No. 19 is a grassy fragrance that doesn't in the least bit remind me of the classic Chanel No. 5. In fact, in my opinion, they couldn't be more different. Chanel No. 19 is a very "green" fragrance and reminds me of the outdoors in the summertime. The fresh cut grass scent is very distinctive.

I love so many by CHANEL that it's difficult to choose just one favorite, but sometimes I think it's the No.19 Eau de Toilette. It's green and outdoorsy. I love the outdoors, and the scent of this takes me there immediately.

Overall, I give this perfume 4.5/5. I have both the EDT and the EDP. I like fragrances that are soft, mellow, comfortable, divine, elegant, simple but unique. I do not like sharp notes as I find them headache-inducing and offensive.

It snells overpowering when applied but would die down in 3 minutes or so to a powdery smell. I think this perfume is more for the mature women. Classic. Yes. Maybe not my taste.i still prefer gabrielle or cristalle eau vert.

I really like the scent of the no.19. However, after a short time, maybe an hour after putting it on, the only thing I can smell is the alcohol. So, if I were to purchase this scent I would pay extra for the form that has less alcohol in it such as the Eau de Parfume.

This is an exquisite perfume, a timeless French classic. As good and appealing as it was 20 years ago when I first bought it for my then to be wife. I love it.

I purchased this produce as a 2nd chance offer, however, the first product I had bid on was 100mls and as I was paying for, what I believed to be the same product I had bid on previously, I realized that the 2nd offer was only half the quantity. I think this was a big rip off.

I've used this for over 20 years....its a classic and anyone would love it. Its not overpowering, it lasts and it lingers...I love that.
