La Panthère was the nickname of Jeanne Toussaint, the flamboyant artistic director of Cartier jewelry from 1933 to 1968, who was responsible for some of the most dramatic examples of Cartier's art.

Fruity floral is not my favorite fragrance category, so you will have to take my words with a larger than usual grain of salt...but here are two recent offerings from the perfume counters: Délices de Cartier was launched earlier this year, and takes its name from a Cartier jewelry collection.

I use this perfume when I am in the mood, to feel very enpowering, and nothing can ruin my day !!

This fragrance is lovely if you like a fragrance that makes a statement. To me, it is more of a winter fragrance, or Date Night scent than a summer or everyday perfume. I like that it had good staying power.

Wow! The scent is over-powering and lasts long. I bought this as a gift for my mom and her sister. You will find that this powerful fragrance is well worth your money. However, keep in mind that it is better suited for younger women and not the elderly, especially if they have respiratory issues.

I use the product on days that I will be with a large crowd of people at work. I have had many complements.

EAU DE CARTIER is more of a light chypre than an aromatic fragrance to my nose, as the bergamot and lavender, usually loud in aromatic openings, are here rather low key. Instead, I find the dominant and persistent notes, curiously enough, to be coriander and a je ne sais quoi note--what I presume...

This stuff smells exactly like a long island iced tea- which for me is not a good thing (long islands always make me sick fast). It just has that distinct smell like youve drank one too many, its nuts. Just something to think about...

Great perfume, draws tones of compliments from people(woman) of different age! Needless to say anything more...

This is a high end perfume that you will either love or hate. I love it! It smells bold and powerful without overdoing it. It smellls wonderfully exotic and sexy on me. I think this is an amazing scent for mature women in their 20's or older.
