Did the formulation change

This is my favorite Cologne. But this time around the fragrance dissipates rather quickly and I don't wanna have to douse myself with it every time I put it on. Has it always been made in Spain

Purchased product in retail establishment smells great but a little pricey. The price here was much better however product smells much weaker like potentially an imposter or watered down..uncertain..
