Canon Selphy CP900
Dedicated photo printers like the Canon Selphy CP900 have become something of a niche product. If you need a portable, dedicated 4x6 photo printer, that makes the CP900 one of your few options.

Canon Selphy CP900
ComputerShopper.com's David English says print quality is better than in previous generations, and is "very close to what we've come to expect from the best inkjet photo printers." Photos are water-resistant, and can last 100 years if kept away from direct light, Canon says.
Pros:
- Nice print quality
- Very portable
- Easy to use
- Can print directly from mobile devices
Cons:
- Expensive ink and paper
- A bit slow
- Battery and charger cost extra

Canon CP900 Selphy Printer - Black with WiFi
Awesome product, happy with the picture quality. I have found a faint horizontal line across portrait pictures while printing via USB. This was not seen when printing via Wi-Fi.

Unfortunately device does not support Linux, making it useless for my application..

Mac Users beware
There no support for the latest version of OS X - so Mac users beware. Canon - you should be ashamed of yourselves. There is a workaround on the Apple Support forum - but users should not have to jump through hoops to get this printer to work.

Canon Selphy CP900 review
While an inkjet might seem like the obvious choice for printing photos at home, it's not the only one. The Selphy CP900 is the latest in Canon's range of dye-sublimation photo printers. It comes with a large colour screen, a memory card slot and support for wireless networking.

Canon Selphy CP900
A quick, smart photo printer, but it's expensive and our results weren't perfect

Canon Selphy CP900
Dedicated photo printers like the Canon Selphy CP900 ($99.99 direct) have become something of a niche product. HP doesn't offer any, and Epson, which hasn't offered a new model since late 2009, says it has no plans to announce any in the near future.
Cons:
- Wi-Fi support lacks Wi-Fi Direct
- which would make printing directly to the printer a lot easier

Buyer beware
This printer is quick and pictures are good- However I did not clearly understand the way the ink and paper works. canon locks you into buying the paper and cartridge as a package. After purchasing I have found reviews from others saying they have extra paper and no way to use it because they can't...
Pros:
- Small Footprint
- fast print speed
Cons:
- supplies expensive

This small, wireless photo printer produces high-quality 4x6-inch prints. The print packs are somewhat expensive, but this is currently the best snapshot-printing solution that's both wireless and lightweight.
Pros:
- Sharp photo prints
- Lightweight
- with optional battery for true portable use
- Wi-Fi support
- Big LCD for a tiny printer
- Supports printing from iOS
Cons:
- High per-print costs
- No Wi-Fi Direct support
- Battery/charger option is pricey
