Noisy but necessary

Pros: ? This is the lightest and most compact RF lens and a great choice for street and family photos. Great pairing for EOS RP. But not a "pancake" PROS: ? This is the lightest and most compact RF lens and a great choice for street and family photos. Great pairing for EOS RP. But not a "pancake".

I'm in love

I love this lens. It is compact, very light, very sharp, nice bokeh and fast focusing. It's not weather sealed but I rarely use my camera in the rain so that doesn't bother me. It may not be L build quality but it is as sharp as an L lens.

Durable; Fast Focus; Great Features; Great Picture Quality; Lightweight; Nice bokeh

Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM Lens RF35ISSTMMACRO review

The Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 STM IS macro was one of the first RF-mount lenses released back in 2018. You may argue that it is not among the most exciting lenses out there but it has a rare quality in today's mirrorless world - it is affordable at around 500USD/550EUR and we have even seen special sales...

Canon RF 35mm F1.8 IS STM Macro Review

Canon RF 35mm F1.8 IS STM Macro is a versatile carry-around lens for Canon's new EOS R system. The only non-'L' lens in the initial RF lineup, the 35mm F1.8 provides a lightweight, compact and relatively affordable solution for EOS R and RP shooters. Optical quality is high, and effective optical stabilization makes this lens useful in a wide range of shooting conditions.

Canon EOS R shooters that want a compact, sharp lens for everyday shooting and closeup work.;

Architectural photographers, or anyone that shoots in poor weather, or regularly needs to capture video (autofocus noise can be an issue);

Great value for the money

I bought the Canon RF 35mm F1,8 alongside the new R6 a few months ago. The combination of a good IS, low F stop and macro capability, is helping me out in many situations, especially low light situations. The feel to the lens is a bit plastic-like, but I have no complaints on the mechanical quality.

Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM Lens - Brand New review

I enjoyed using the Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro during my time with it. The light weight and strong image quality, combined with the affordable price, means that it deserves a place in a lot of photographers’ bags.

Strong optical performance in almost every metric, from sharpness to flare, Surprisingly advanced handling features for an inexpensive lens, with extensive manual controls, Built-in image stabilization is unusual for a 35mm prime and works well, Impressive close-up capabilities make it a very...

No weather sealing, Externally focusing design feels cheap and is less weatherproof, Vignetting is on the high side, Lens hood is not included (and if you do get one, it attaches to the moving portion of the barrel), Focusing is loud and hunts more often than most Canon RF lenses in low light,...

Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM Lens - Brand New review

The Apple iPhone 14 isn’t a huge upgrade on the iPhone 13, yet it still is a great phone with a top camera, good battery life and all the iOS benefits.

Clever safety features, Very good battery life, Reliable camera, Fun colours, You’ve got an ageing iPhone: If you’re on an iPhone 11 or older, then the changes here will make a notable difference.

Stuck on a 60Hz display, Minimal differences to the iPhone 13, You’ve got an iPhone 13: The changes from Apple’s previous phone aren’t enough to warrant an upgrade this year.
