I love this lens. It is compact, very light, very sharp, nice bokeh and fast focusing. It's not weather sealed but I rarely use my camera in the rain so that doesn't bother me. It may not be L build quality but it is as sharp as an L lens.

I bought the Canon RF 35mm F1,8 alongside the new R6 a few months ago. The combination of a good IS, low F stop and macro capability, is helping me out in many situations, especially low light situations. The feel to the lens is a bit plastic-like, but I have no complaints on the mechanical quality.

I enjoyed using the Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro during my time with it. The light weight and strong image quality, combined with the affordable price, means that it deserves a place in a lot of photographers’ bags.
