Great features, easy to use, and a flip screen!

I haven't used an actual camera in years, relying on the ever-improving image quality of smartphones for snapshots and vacation photos and videos. That said, as my wife and I planned our first foreign vacation in five years, I found I wanted an actual camera as my primary tool for recording the...

Does everything that I want - lots of great auto functions as well as ability to do manual settings. Zoom is amazing, so is the video camera. Size is perfect for travelling. I love the wi-fi technology - it's amazing that I just have to open an app on my phone and I can see all the photos on my...

Impressive at first look

Well designed body, very easy to handle, seems solidly built. Focus and zoom are excellent, images are clear. We wanted a larger sensor camera (Panasonic Lumix

Canon PowerShot SX730 HS review

Canon's PowerShot SX730 HS is the company's flagship pocket super-zoom camera. Announced in April 2017, it's the successor to the SX720 HS. The new SX730 HS shares the 20 Megapixel resolution, 1080p movies and 40x optical zoom range of its predecessor, all packed into a surprisingly small body.

Powerful 40x zoom range in compact; pocketable body; Flip-up screen; Wifi for remote shooting and image transfer; Bluetooth for remote shooting and easy geotagging; USB charging (cable not supplied)

Some noise at 80 ISO base sensitivity; No Raw capability; Lacks a touch screen; Lacks 4k video or exposure control over movies

Great point and shoot

We biught this camer and two days later took it to the rain forests of Peru. We were amazed at how we could take clear pictures of animals 40-50 foot up I. The trees. We are still exploring the various features and are very happy with the results. It's small size makes it easy to transport

Stylish Camera

Purchased as a birthday gift for my husband who had done his research and picked this camera. After using it on holiday last week he is very pleased with how easy it is to use and of course the pictures, which are super, great colour and definition. Lightweight to carry which is ideal.

Easy to use, high quality photos.

This camera is very easy to use and takes excellent clear photos. The 40x zoom is very easy to use and produces very good clear photos providing you can hold the camera still. Video also great and easy to use. Battery life is also better than I expected. Overall I've yet to find a downside.
