Canon PowerShot SX260 HS
The Canon PowerShot SX260 HS replaces last year's SX230 HS , updating its lens from a 14x 28mm wide-angle lens to a 20x 25mm ultrawide-angle one. It keeps the 12-megapixel backside-illuminated CMOS sensor, but gets the new Digic 5 image processor, which helps it shoot in bursts up to 10 frames per...
Pros:
- The Canon PowerShot SX260 HS has shooting modes for every type of photographer from casual to advanced
- a useful long zoom lens with excellent image stabilization
- and overall excellent photo and video quality for a compact megazoom
Cons:
- The SX260 HS' menus and controls can take some getting used to
- it's got a short battery life
- and photos get noticeably softer-looking indoors or in low light

Canon SX260 HS Review
Every bit of the Canon SX260 HS is so beautiful, that we have a ridiculously hard time putting it down. The camera is extremely slim, sturdy (thanks to the metal frame) and the curved edges make it extremely comfortable in the hands.
Pros:
- Slim and sturdy
- Great performance even at ISO 3200
- Intuitive interface and ergonomics
Cons:
- Trifle expensive
- Poor audio recording
- Mediocre video recording in low light

Great Camera!
I was looking for a camera that has the same feature with the g11 without the bulk and weight. Product is user friendly. An advanced point and shoot but easier and less complicated than a g11. This is a good camera for people who want to learn and play around manual settings due to simpler settings.
Pros:
- Advance point and shoot
- Easy To Use
- Fast/accurate auto-focus
- Good Image Quality
- Good Image Stabilization
- Good in Low Light
- Great Zoom
- Large Clear LCD
- Lightweight heavy feature
- Manual Settings
- Nice Body Color
- Short Lag Time
- Small / Compact
Cons:
- No view finder

The Canon PowerShot SX260 is a travel zoom camera that packs a 20X zoom lens into a compact and stylish package. The lens is probably the highlight of the camera, with an impressive range of 25 - 500 mm. As with other cameras in this class, the lens is on the slow side, especially at full telephoto.
Pros:
- Very good photo quality for the compact ultra zoom category, Packs a 20X, 25 - 500 mm lens into a compact and stylish body, Optical image stabilization
- camera will select the appropriate IS mode for the situation, High resolution 3-inch LCD with very good outdoor and low light visibility, Built-in...

Cons Bottom Line Pick This Up If... The Canon PowerShot SX260 HS is another strong contender in the Canon family. It includes quite a few advanced features for a point and shoot camera, including an impressive 20x optical zoom lens and a popup flash unit.
Pros:
- Good mix of easy-to-use features and manual setting options for beginners and intermediates
- 20x zoom lens is great to see in such a thin camera
- LCD is very bright and sharp
- easily can be viewed in sunlight outdoors
- Color accuracy quality is very good
- Good mix of advanced features
- when compared...
Cons:
- Camera's autofocus can be a little slow in low light
- Overall response times can be a little sluggish
- Mode dial has a few odd choices on it
- Seems like there's some redundancy in the easy-to-use modes
- Battery can drain quickly with GPS activated

Canon PowerShot SX260 HS review
You're probably familiar with the saying "Jack of all trades, master of none." The PowerShot SX260 HS blows that idea out of the water. This is a pocket megazoom that does a lot of things and masters quite a few of them, providing excellent overall image and video quality, easy-to-use controls for...

Canon PowerShot SX260 HS
Two common features are missing, though: high dynamic range (which combines several exposures to gain greater depth and detail) and in-camera panorama. "The panorama mode is still Canon's Stitch Assist, where you take a photo and then try to line up a ghost image to take the rest of the photos so...
Pros:
- 20x zoom
- Better photo quality than other pocket ultra-zooms
- Robust manual controls
- GPS and lots of other extras
Cons:
- Some image flaws
- like fringing and blown-out highlights
- Sluggish autofocus
- Video mode lags behind rivals
- Short battery life
