Trophy Compact Gets Spit & Polish
The Canon PowerShot S90 has a permanent place in my bag. As a compact point-and-shoot, the S90 has not only been a powerhouse compact, but also a great substitute slash justification for not carrying around a DSLR.

If you must have a camera that fits in your pocket, the Canon PowerShot S95 is the best compact model you can buy.

- Beautiful image quality, even in low light
- Large image sensor
- Bright lens
- Manual dials for a D-SLR-like shooting experience
Cons:
- Expensive for a pocket camera
- Price puts it close to D-SLRs and compact interchangeable lens cameras, which offer far superior images
