What's with the price, Amazon.ca?
Have had the loan of a S95 from a friend for a couple of months, and love it. Am now shopping for one of my own....but, wow! This just went up in price this past week on Amazon.ca's site, and is on sale this week for well over $100 less on Amazon.com's site. What gives?

Canon S95
Buy one, I did, and I already have an S90 from last year which I use extensively. I love the S95's $30 PSC-900 deluxe leather case . My belt slips through it, and then the case holds the S95 on my waist. It's very well made and a custom fit for the S95, with a magnetic catch.

Canon PowerShot S95 review: Canon PowerShot S95
The PowerShot S95 is an excellent compact camera that will complement any photographer's arsenal, provided you don't need super-fast performance specs. There's an increasing demand for small cameras with manual controls, a demand fuelled by amateur photographers looking for a go-everywhere replacement for their digital SLR. Panasonic has had such a camera for a few years with the Lumix LX3, and its replacement the Lumix LX5, and last year Canon answered back with the PowerShot S90, which features manual controls and a wide, bright f/2 maximum aperture.
Pros:
- Compact form factor with manual control. Control ring gives a dSLR-like shooting experience. Excellent image quality for a camera of this class. RAW and JPEG shooting. Bright f/2.0 lens.
Cons:
- No dedicated video record button. Pop-up flash can be obstructed by fingers.

Canon PowerShot S95

- Manual control and RAW shooting
- some fun auto features too
- great quality images
- plenty of control
Cons:
- Battery life a little short
- video is nothing to get excited about

Canon PowerShot S95
In August 2009, Canon announced its PowerShot S90 -- an important digital camera for the company, because it marked a significant change in strategy. After many years spent chasing megapixels at the expense of outright image quality, the pocket-friendly PowerShot S90 took a step back in terms of...
