Great compact camera. Not the same image quality as a DSLR obviously, but very good quality overall. I've used this camera extensively outdoors, on both day hikes and weekend type adventures and found the battery lasted the entire trip taking literally hundreds of photos powering the camera on...

Great Camera
Ordered this for my dad, and was easy for him to use while still having a lot of functionality (fireworks setting, changing focus, aperture, etc.)
Pros:
- -Shoots great sharp pictures for a point and shoot
- Control ring is great for manually adjusting settings
- Rechargeable Li-Ion battery
- Optical Image Stabilization (A must have
Cons:
- 1280x720 video is in 24fps, and not 30fps
- Not a real big con though, the 640x320 is in 30fps
- If you want great video then a camcorder would do the job better

A great camera for the price
I decided not too long ago that I was interested in purchasing a quality point and shoot so I wouldn't have to lug my DSLR gear around if I wanted to take photos while out and about. After some research (and finding a great pre-Xmas sale on Amazon) I pulled the trigger on the Canon S95.
