A Powerful Camera in a Small Package
Appearance/Design: Without even looking at a single picture, people have complimented me on the camera. The S90 is very sleek and looks professional. I personally was against a camera that used a cell battery (as compared to AA or AAA batteries), but that makes the camera look much nicer.

Canon Reintroduces The S Series, Photogs Shed A Tear
Canon has resurrected (wisely) the PowerShot S Series with the new S90. Wising up to the fact that there are consumers who want a pocket-sized camera that takes quality photos, not the point-and-shoot garbage we've been relegated to.

Canon PowerShot S90 review
For years we've longed for a compact digital camera with image quality to rival that of SLRs. Suddenly it seems we're spoiled for choice. Some models cram an SLR sensor into a small body, but Canon's S90 takes a less radical approach, with a wide-aperture lens to capture lots of light.

Tricky to use but great shots
A very good camera, but takes some getting used to as the numerous controls are not as intuitive as they might be. There's been something of a 'serious compact camera' renaissance in the last couple of years, led by Panasonic with the LX series and Canon with the G9/10/11. That said, the choices for the enthusiast wanting full photographic control in a pocketable package are still very limited (even the LX3 is...
