buy spare batteries!
This camera takes great pics and Raw mode was a prerequisite to me purchasing, as its the 2.0 aperture. I only have 2 complaints. I think the camera is way too complex and overloaded with features, like watching for a babies smile to snap a picture, etc.
Pros:
- Good Low-Light Performance
- excellent image quality
- Bright LCD
- Lightweight/Portable
Cons:
- Short battery life
- Complicated controls/menu

Canon PowerShot S110 Review
The Canon PowerShot S-series has some of the most advanced compact cameras around. The latest, the PowerShot S110, not only uses a new, better sensor that pushes the ISO up to 12,800, but it has a faster autofocusing system, too.
Pros:
- Great photo quality and performance
- even in low light
- Faster autofocusing than predecessors
- Easy to use
- yet has plenty of user-adjustable options
Cons:
- Wi-Fi not the easiest to use
- somewhat half-baked
- Slow continuous shooting

Canon PowerShot S110 review Review
The S110 is a great little camera. It's much smaller than you'd expect as you read through the specs. It put in a very good performance in these tests and could hold its own as a more ambitious compact to live alongside a conventional dSLR in a pro's kit bag.
Pros:
- Wide maximum aperture
- Built-in Wi-Fi
- Raw shooting
- Plenty of manual controls
- Very small
Cons:
- Wind noise on movies
- Undercut by competitors

Canon PowerShot S110 Camera Review
The Canon PowerShot S110 is a great compact camera with many features automatic and manual that lead back (in outline) Reflex in the world. Even the price if you want to Reflex and it would be more justified if we found the waterproof case in the sales package (this is optional), even if we have to...
Pros:
- HS System, ISO 12800 maximum, Smart Auto (58 scenes), built-in WiFi, Full manual control
- DIGIC 5
- mini HDMI port, Intelligent IS, GPS module
- HDR Mode, High-speed Burst HQ, ND filter
- CMOS sensor with high sensitivity
- Lens f / 2 very bright
- Lens Control Ring, Capacitive Touch Screen Display
Cons:
- Price

Superb picture quality
Eventually, I've bought the snapper that has everything I wanted from my li'l one. Its picture quality is simply superb. Of course, it is tad costlier than other point-and-shhots, but then it never disappoint at any point of time, atleast till now.

For a camera of its sensor size I would expect the S110 to have a better low light performance. The camera fits into anyone pocket (portability) hence it is easy for you to carry everywhere.

Good upgrade over S90
Purchased this camera as a gift for my fiance to replace her aging S90. The S90 took great photos, but lately was 'acting up' (turning itself off randomly, occasional 'fuzzy' photos, etc.). Decided to stay with Canon, and upgrade to S110.
