Great compact camera with many customizable features!
If your looking for a small compact camera with all the features of a DSLR, this is the camera for you. Manual shots with the ability to shoot in RAW. Picture quality is great and all functions work well.

Canon PowerShot S110
The Canon PowerShot S110 is an advanced compact aimed at enthusiasts looking for DSLR levels of control and performance from something more pocketable. It replaces the S100 in the PowerShot range retaining the same 12.1 Megapixel sensor and 24-120mm equivalent f2.0-5.9 lens.
Pros:
- Smaller than other high-end compacts
- 3 inch 461k dot touch-screen
- Wi-fi network and smartphone connectivity
- 5x 24-120mm zoom
Cons:
- Poor battery life
- Lacks movie PASM modes
- No built-in GPS
- Lacklustre continuous shooting

PowerShot S110 for the ambivalent snapshooter
Nice photo quality, improved autofocus performance, and a very compact design make the Canon PowerShot S110 a solid option if you're looking for something between a point-and-shoot and an enthusiast compact. But if you can find them cheaper, the S100 or S95 are still good alternatives.
Pros:
- The Canon PowerShot S110 has better autofocus than its predecessor while maintaining good-to-excellent photo quality
Cons:
- A not-very-impressive implementation of the new wireless connectivity features and still-sluggish image processing weigh down the camera

High quality small digital camera
Camera is small enough to put in your pocket. Good quality pictures. The small flushed buttons are hard to press. You almost cannot feel the buttons, most of time I have to look at the buttons and use my fingernail to press it.
Pros:
- Small Footprint
Cons:
- Small Flushed Buttons

Canon PowerShot S110
Canon has added a touchscreen and Wi-Fi to the excellent S100 and despite niggles, it remains a top compact

Size is the key factor
I had a Panasonic Lumix LX3. Great camera, loved it but broke it. Replaced it with a Canon G12 as I wanted easier manual control. That one's a great camera, but it's big for a compact and you can't put it in a trouser pocket, so I have a belt pouch which works okay but bulky.

Excellent camera in a small package
Wife conveniently misplaced her 3 month old S100 before the holidays so I had to scramble to find a replacement asap. The new touchscreen is actually pretty nifty to use. The battery is the same but the front grip is gone which makes the camera a bit more slippery to hold.
Pros:
- Features
- small package
- great price point
- improved low light
- touchscreen
Cons:
- Battery
- slippery
- flash

Canon PowerShot S110 review
A strong combination of size, quality and features – more than the sum of its parts

buy spare batteries!
This camera takes great pics and Raw mode was a prerequisite to me purchasing, as its the 2.0 aperture. I only have 2 complaints. I think the camera is way too complex and overloaded with features, like watching for a babies smile to snap a picture, etc.
Pros:
- Good Low-Light Performance
- excellent image quality
- Bright LCD
- Lightweight/Portable
Cons:
- Short battery life
- Complicated controls/menu
