Very compact versatile camera
Excellent camera and small enough to always have on me. However because it is so small it is sometimes awkward to hold and I find myself putting my finger on the flash when it pops up. Sharp, fast lens. Keep a spare battery, it does drain quickly.

In the last year and a half I've gone through five or six of these cameras. The flash dying, the lens no longer retracting, and incorrect color of the final images were but three of the issues which Canon was unable to fix so they just continued sending me new cameras.

Tweet It's easy to dismiss Canon's S100 as just another small little compact amid a vast ocean of choice. You would be seriously mistaken though.

A quality compact camera with great features.
Looking for a compact to fit in your jeans or shirt pocket. Where most compacts are too thick, oddly shaped or have a lens that protrudes excessively the Canon S100 fits the pocket perfectly. Sure it could always be smaller but that would be too small.

Great quality pocket camera; more suited to photography enthusiasts
This is a great pocket camera for the photographic enthusiast. It takes great quality images for a pocket camera with especially good low light performance. The S100 offers easy manual control and the availability of RAW format.

I have had this camera for a year and I have already returned it once and I am about to send it back to the repair facility. The website has a notice that the lens error that I have is known. No, I didn't drop it. I shouldn't have these issues from a company supposedly known for quality.

Awesome product ! Great value for the money!
The Canon S100 is a very nice camera. Takes great pic's performs very well. My old Camera was out dated so I went ahead and bought this this product and I'm glad that I did. This is a very fine product.

Powerful little package
I am a professional photographer tired of never having a camera handy for fun family and pet moments. My nephew, an electrical engineer, meanwhile has been taking great shots with an S95. He found that camera after exhaustive research.

Missing Manual
This a agreat camera. Excellant handling, images , etc. Except there is no printed manual a real cheap drawback,especially if one doesn'r have a computer or printer.
