The Canon G5X Mark II is the 2nd version of their original G5 X. It has a new design that's smaller, lighter.
It gets a new stacked CMOS sensor with DIGIC 8 processor, while DIGIC 6 on its predecessor. It has a Pop-up EVF, but a fixed EVF on its original. This camera can record 4K videos without a crop, while its original model lacks 4K video. It can shoot 1080p video up to 120 fps, compared to 60 fps for the predecessor. This camera has Bluetooth now.
Are there any disadvantages to this camera? Well, it lacks 24p video recording and continuous 4K video recording is limited to about 10 minutes. Moreover, there are no headphones and microphone jacks.
