Love the camera, fantastic video capabilities
I bought this camera so that I didn't have to carry my larger Nikon D90 when skiing, traveling, etc. I wanted a smallish camera that took exceptional photos. I got that and more. I have 2 children that play hockey and have been just carrying this camera to the games.

great compact
now superceded by later models this is an excellent all rounder, easy to use - especially the video, producing remarkably good pictures for its size. would recommend this series. watch out for the pivoting screen if you need one - not on all models, and not on this one.

Camera up grade!
I have been using a camera phone for the last five years. I decided to up grade. When I saw the pictures from this unit, I was blown away. They are so much better. And that is on automatic. I am still learning all the features.
