Best P &S waterproof camera

I've had this camera for more than a year and recommended another to a friend. When I don't want to lug my big DSLR around, this fits the bill perfect. The underwater quality is great, the images can be perfected with post processing but otherwise are very good images.

Easy to Use; Fast Shutter Speed; Good Battery Life; Great Resolution; Large Clear LCD; Small / Compact

No complaints

Great for a rugged camera

The Powershot D20 is a little larger than you might think by looking at the picture. However, it is sturdy and well built and feels like it could take some knocks (obviously since it's a rugged camera). The camera works just any other of Canon's point and shoots.

This camera is fun

I bought this camera mainly because I was afraid of taking my Canon G-11 to the beach. I wasn't expecting too much to be honest, but I'm really surprised how much fun I'm having with this camera. It has a lot of fun features built in to manipulate the photos.

exceeds expectations; perfect size; looks cute; super sharp photos; worry free beach days

The versatile Canon PowerShot D20, captures pictures in and out of the water. It is waterproof down to 33 feet and can operate in temperatures ranging from 14 to 104 degrees. It has all of the features you get with the best waterproof cameras .

The Canon PowerShot D20 has a dedicated movie button located at the back of the camera for capturing videos at a moment's notice

The buttons on the top of the camera are too close together; so it is easy to hit the wrong one by accident

Found this very easy to use in all situations. Still getting used to all the features but the image quality is brilliant. My wife loves it too.

Canon PowerShot D20

The Canon PowerShot D20 is a rugged waterproof camera designed for use outdoors in the kind of environmental conditions you'd hesitate to take a conventional camera. It's waterproof to a depth of 10 Metres, dustproof, shockproof and can be used in temperatures from -10 to 40 degrees Celsius.

5x stabilised optical zoom; Designed for purpose; 1080p24 video recording; built-in GPS receiver with track log

Very poor continuous shooting; Poor noise handling; No 'door open' warning; Relatively expensive

Canon PowerShot D20

The Canon PowerShot D20 ($349.99 direct) is a very tough 12-megapixel camera with a fun aqua and black design and a sharp 5x zoom lens. It can go as deep as 33 feet underwater, survive drops up to five feet, and operate in temperatures as low as 14°F.

Large, even for a rugged camera; So-so speeds.
