Canon PowerShot D20 Review
The Canon PowerShot D20 is a waterproof, shockproof and freeze-proof digital compact camera with built-in GPS. As such the Canon PowerShot D20 will primarily appeal to adventurous and active types looking for a camera that's as home on the piste as it is underwater.
Pros:
- Water
- dust
- shock and freeze proof
- Big buttons make it easy to operate
- Good range of shooting modes and digital filters
- Super Slow Motion movie recording
Cons:
- No manual control
- Top buttons a little close together

In my humble opinion (of 40+ years of diving and underwater photography) Canon could have done a lot better by designing areal pressure-resistant camera around better specs. Canon could've well kept the design and shape of the D10.

Canon PowerShot D20 review Review
The PowerShot D20 is the best rugged, waterproof camera I've tested. Canon has made very few compromises and paired good -- although not perfect -- performance with a striking design.
Pros:
- GPS photo tagging
- Waterproof
- Can withstand impact
- Good colour reproduction
- Cool design
Cons:
- Some chromatic aberration
- Grain apparent at conservative sensitivities
- Wind noise on movies
- even with wind filter active

Canon PowerShot D20 – the perfect companion for travelers and "light" adventurers
PowerShot D20 is one of the best compact cameras that's waterproof, shockproof, and freezeproof. Sure enough, it's in the league of rugged shooters like Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX20 , Olympus TG-1 iHS, and the aforementioned Fujifilm FinePix XP170.

- Battery Life is less than 300 images
- not very much for an adventurous trip
- Screen can be hard to see underwater at certain angles
- Placement of the Playback button is odd
- and caused confusion when shooting

Canon PowerShot D20 Digital Camera Review
By our count, there are no less than 15 new waterproof cameras in the 2012 model year. We've never seen the pool so crowded before. The industry is counting on these adventure-ready cameras to close the sales gap left where cheap point-and-shoots used to be.

This camera is fun
I bought this camera mainly because I was afraid of taking my Canon G-11 to the beach. I wasn't expecting too much to be honest, but I'm really surprised how much fun I'm having with this camera. It has a lot of fun features built in to manipulate the photos.
Pros:

- super sharp photos
- worry free beach days
