Canon PowerShot A3100 IS review
With the PowerShot A3100, it's fair to say Canon has the entire spectrum of compact cameras covered. From the excellent - and very cheap - Canon A490 , all the way up to the top-end Canon G11 , anyone in the market for a new compact camera will be able to find something they like.

Canon PowerShot A3100 IS review Review
The 12.1-megapixel PowerShot A3100 IS with 4x zoom makes a good first impression. Its pictures and feature set won't induce violent spasms of excitement, but its smart metal body, satisfying dimensions and straightforward controls are points in its favour
Pros:
- Smart metal body
- Clear and efficient controls
Cons:
- Poor lens performance
- Unadventurous specs
- Too expensive
