I purchased this camera as an alternative to my DSLR for every day trips. It works great. The picture quality is amazing (as long as you do not use digital zoom). It has a rechargeable battery which I love. Really a great product.

Canon PowerShot A2500
Launched in January 2013, the Canon PowerShot A2500 is a 16 Megapixel compact with a 2.7in screen and a 5x optical zoom. As with the rest of the 2013 A series models the A2600 retains the 28-140mm zoom range, the 16 Megapixel CCD sensor and Digic 4 processor of the 2012 range.
Pros:
- 5x optical zoom that works in movie mode
- Eco mode extends battery life
- Low price
Cons:
- Little that's new compared with predecesor
- Poor high ISO noise performance
- No built-in Wifi or GPS
- Lengthy shooting mode menu

Small but does the job!
This camera works well for me in doing home inspections. It is light-weight and fits well in its pocket so I have hands free to make notes on my clipboard. It is also quite useful taking pictures around the house and of scenery.

Good at this price range
Canon A2500 digital camera is a good camera at this price range. Inspite of having a semi DSLR, after watching various ads on low price cameras, I wanted to buy a handy model and after investigating more on that I have chosen this model.

I would recommend this small camera to any one much better than the Nikon this one is light small handy pocket size great photos has its own battery so no having to buy new ones all the time love the colour too
