Canon PowerShot A2400 IS
The Canon PowerShot A2400 IS is a fairly simple camera that's well suited for the casual photographer as it offers above average image quality. For those willing to explore their artistic side, the camera has many effects and filters.
Pros:
- Above average image quality
- Nice-looking LCD display
- Lots of shooting effects/filters
Cons:
- Controls may be hard to use for some
- Loses sharpness at high ISO settings

Worth your money
I have used Cannon cameras before, so I knew that I liked their products. I'd say this camera met all my expectations. The price is great for all the features it has and it's pretty user friendly.
Pros:
- lots of features
Cons:
- picture delay

My first digital camera and it did not disappoint!
Loving this neat little camera. I am not technologically-savvy in any way, and the huge online reference guide intimidated me, but after a bit of reading the short enclosed information booklet, I was already shooting great pictures!

Love this little camera! It takes beautiful photos and I'd definitely would buy again if I had to do this over. Takes better pictures than my old camera and love the different effects that I can do with the pictures. The camera is pretty self explanatory and I didn't have to read the manual.

great compact, point and shoot
I didnt want anything complicated, or with loads of options, buttons or wizzy stuff. I just wanted a camera that was small enough to be stuffed into a jacket pocket, wasnt linked with the internet and took decent pictures. I'm pleased, but if you're a camera buff upgrade.

Blown Out and Blurry Pics
I had an older Canon Powershot and it pained me to part with it. The pics were great for a point and shoot. I thought this model would be an improvement... I was DEAD WRONG. This camera is terrible and I definitely wasted my money on this purchase.
Pros:
- This camera's design is nice
- Small and easy to carry
- Easy to pull from the pocket in those "I need a pic of this!" moments
- I like the "discreet" mode for those concerts when you want to get a pic of your favorite singer without disturbing others
Cons:
- This camera can't focus. The image stabilizer is TERRIBLE
- I have a RebelT2i and comparing the IS is no contest. All my pics (whites) are always blown out & overexposed and just terrible quality pics
- Not worth taking to your child's Christmas concert
