Pleasantly surprised after switching from Epsons for years. Very small paper tray I can live with. Easy to setup between 3 computers in the house. Scan Utility software pretty basic but works!

Good home printer, that prints really well. It does take a little while to print graphics.

Reasonable print speed and all around functionality. Setting up a bit fiddly first time as it need to be done via a web link instead on the printer itself. But once done, no need to repeat. Wish paper cassette hold more paper, found we keep having to add paper as it don’t hold much. The cassette also a bit hard to grab to pull out when there are paper on the output tray, and the plastic cover at the front of the paper cassette tray is annoying as it makes loading the paper not as straightforward as you may need to take it off, load the paper and pop it back on. I found it weird that the Front panel must be tilted up for it to operate, no automatic pop up so need to be done manually and looks unsightly in that position, wish canon have designed it more aesthetically pleasing than something that need to be constantly tilted up manually like this to run. Eg a permanent surface or ability to run without having to tilt the front panel up.
